JAMF Connect - Connect your Mac to Jamf Connect
This article is only for existing Faculty and Staff.
New Faculty and Staff (starting in the 2023-2024 school year) will have Jamf Connect pre-installed.
Jamf Connect is a tool for Apple Mac computers that allows you to log in to your Mac with your AIS Onelogin credentials.
Jamf Connect will convert a mac user with local credentials to a user with AIS Onelogin credentials and adds a system add-on that keeps the passwords between your computer and Onelogin synchronized.
Please read the entire guide before starting.
1. Make sure that you know your Onelogin password and that your two-factor method of authentication is current
You can check if you can log in to https://aischool.onelogin.com/ using your email and password.
Please make sure you remember your Onelogin password, as when you log into the computer, you won't be able to use the password auto-fill function.

2. Back up your Mac to AIS Google Drive
Before proceeding, we strongly encourage you to back up your Mac local files to AIS Google Drive.

3. Open Self Service and search for Jamf Connect
To learn how to open and use AIS Self-Service, check out this article: How to use Self Service
After you find the Jamf Connect - install it on your Mac.

The Mac will reboot after about 3 - 5 minutes.
4. After Jamf Connect installation, your Mac will reboot and present you with a Onelogin window.
Log in with your Onelogin AIS Email and Password.

5. You may need to pick the account you want to connect to Onelogin. (this step is optional, if you are not given a choice - go to step 6)
If you are given a choice, pick your account (typically named your first name.your last name)

6. Then, you will need to enter your current local Macbook password (the password that you use to login to your computer)

You may see a blank screen for up to 5 minutes.
After that, the local user will be converted to a user with AIS Onelogin credentials.
Now you can log in to your Mac only using your Onelogin password.
