Troubleshooting Printing Software
This article applies only to AIS Employees
To print, you need to be connected to ais.wifi (not ais.public - which is for guest users and students), you need to run Papercut software and be signed in to it with your school account.
Let's take a look in every part of the system in the detail.
1. Are you connected to ais.wifi?
You can check it by clicking on the wifi icon in the upper-right corner of your screen.

If you are not connected to ais.wifi, you can connect to it by running Fix my Wifi tool from Self Service.

2. Do you have Papercut software running on your device?
2.1 View installed printers
If you are connected to ais.wifi, but still cannot print, check if you have Papercut printer icon in your menu bar.
If you have it, click on it and then click "View my printers" and go to step 2.2.
If you don't have Printer icon in your menu bar - go to step 2.4.

2.2 Logging in to Papercut
If you are promoted to log in, login with your AIS email and Onelogin password.
If you are getting "Invalid password" error, go to the step 2.3

After you logged in, you should see this screen:

If you seeing this screen, you can close this window and go to the step 3.
2.3 Invalid password when I'm trying to sign in
If you get invalid password error (but you are sure that you are typing correct password) - update your password in your Onelogin Portal.
To do that,
In your web browser, go to:
https://aischool.onelogin.com/portal
In the upper-right corner, click on your name, then click Profile.

In the opened window, click on the Change password in the menu on the left.
In the "Current password" field type your current password.
In the "New password" field type the new password, then click Update Password button at the bottom of the page.

After the password is updated, try logging into Papercut again using the directions from step 2.1 and 2.2
2.4 I don't see printer icon in my mac's menu bar
If you don't see printer icon - you might need to get Papercut printing software installed.
You can do that from Self Service by installing Get Printers.
After you installed Get Printers, you computer will restart and you will see the icon in your menu bar. Go to the step 2.1
3. Are you choosing the correct printer when you send something to print?
You need to select Find Me as your printer.
To do that, click on the Destination, then select Find Me

If you don't see FindMe in that list, click See more and then pick FindMe

4. Are you releasing the job from the printer in time?
After you sent the job using the FindMe printer, the print job will be stored on our printing server and you can release it from the printing queue in the next 24 hours.
If you don't see the job in the printing queue, you need to resend it.
